Taking Dental & Medical Services To Remote Areas

Throngs of community members queuing at Eqinisweni School, Jericho and Zombodze Health Care centres for the Dental Outreach led by the Rotary Club of Mbabane, are testament of the need and appreciation for the services brought closer a week.

Held in conjunction with the five other Rotary Clubs in Eswatini, the annual Outreach set up camp on all three sites and provided hundreds of students and adults from the Shiselweni region who queued up as early as 6am, with much needed dental and medical care.

Eswatini Sugar contributed E50,000 towards securing dental supplies needed for the effective and successful execution of the outreach.

“With past and present support from Eswatini Sugar, we continue to deliver Standard of Care Medical and Oral Health Services through these outreached.  We continue to, on behalf of Rotary and the benefiting communities, express our gratitude for our partnership that has delivered this much needed care where it is needed most,” said Dr Musa Mthethwa, Project Champion for the outreach.

The outreach moves to a different region each year, taking along Medical and Dental experts from Eswatini and across the borders who volunteer their time and service to children and community who have limitation to access.
